Leave the bandage or wrap on for the time we discussed (usually until the next morning).
Wash your hands before touching your tattoo.
Gently wash with warm water and fragrance-free soap.
Pat dry with a clean towel or let it air-dry.
Apply a thin layer of your recommended aftercare ointment/lotion (Aquaphor or Lubriderm).
Avoid soaking, swimming, and direct sun exposure.
Do not scratch or pick the tattoo.

Wash your tattoo once or twice a day with mild, unscented soap.
Keep it lightly moisturized; do not over-apply lotion.
Avoid soaking, swimming, and direct sun exposure.
Wear clean, loose clothing over the area.
Do not scratch or pick scabs or peeling skin.

Continue moisturizing as needed; most peeling will stop after 1–2 weeks.
The tattoo may look dull or shiny until the new skin fully forms.
Keep protecting it from sun and friction while it finishes healing.

Touch-ups may be needed depending on placement and skin type.
I offer complimentary touch-ups within a year of your appointment once your tattoo is fully healed.
